An emotional appeal
Someone linked me to this article today. While I may not know an awful lot about charity or caring about your fellow man, I do know a potentially profitable hustle when I see one.
As such I am making this heartfelt appeal on behalf of the Eccles Foundation*
Now I like Homestar Runner. The site keeps me entertained, the cartoons make me laugh and the merchandise keeps me grammophony.
But it's not enough. Oh no. I would quite enjoy meeting the minds behind the site: Matt and Mike Chapman (and, if time permits, Miss Palmer, because Marzipan is hawt). This would require taking a trip to Atlanta, Georgia.
This is where my main problem and you, the solution, come in. I need $500(US) to make the round trip to GA. I don't have any money. You, presumably, do.

If it'll help loosen the purse strings, I drew a picture of what the meeting would be like...
I also drew The Cheat. He's cute, right?
